Open Comment Period for Guidelines

The Board is accepting public comments on the Parole Guidelines.
Any comments submitted must be received by the Board no later than May 12, 2025, and comments received after this date will not be considered.

How does parole work?

Parole is the investigation into persons who have offended in the past and deciding if they meet the qualifications to be released back into the general population under careful supervision.

How does a pardon work?

Investigations for Pardons, Voter Rights Restoration, and Remissions of Fines and Forfeitures are conducted by the Pardon Unit upon receipt of an application.
