The Public Information Unit for the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles addresses general questions from the public regarding an inmate’s eligibility for parole consideration, consideration (hearing) dates and hearing results by communicating with the Docket Unit and Revocation Unit. The unit also distributes calls to Bureau personnel and redirects calls to the appropriate agency, court or facility when it is determined that outside assistance is required. All emails submitted to the Bureau via the firstname.lastname@example.org are reviewed by the Public Information Unit.
