Military Appreciation Month: Bureau of Pardons and Paroles Recognizes Military Staff

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles spotlights Bureau staff who have served or currently serve in the United States Military. The sacrifices made by these men and women protect American rights and freedoms.

Serving in the military is an act of courage, integrity and respect. ABPP recognizes these virtues and is proud to have military Probation and Parole Officers, Institutional Parole Officers, and other administrative staff as a part of the team.

Director Ward said, “I want to express my deep appreciation and thankfulness for those who have served in our country’s military and also worked hard for public safety in Alabama. They have truly gone above and beyond in their duties.”

To all military personnel in the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. National Guard — thank you for your service and sacrifices made to protect all Americans.
