In-person hearings open to the public resumed beginning Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles held 27 parole hearings Tuesday, granting five paroles and denying 22. One parole hearing was continued to a later date. The Board also held nine hearings on requests for pardons.
